Why, have you been to that hospital?  scared2:

I think it rather unlikely if they take on NHS work.

Op called off!

Been to see my cardiologist today (regular check up) and she has insisted that any op needs to be performed in a major hospital with full emergency facilities. Also she wants to personally vet the anaesthetist. All just in case like  eeek:

Probably going to be done at UCH in London now.

I also mentioned I've been feeling a bit poorly lately. She immediately arranged a blood test and said I must go and see my GP ASAP.

It's like having a new mum  confused:

That's because the anaesthetist is in charge at an op not the Surgeon, you seem to be well looked after.

Good luck btw xxx
It's better than I ever even knew.  They say that the world was built for two.  Only worth living if somebody is loving you.  Baby now you do.

We could do with a few more like her in the NHS.

Finally got an appointment for the op. ~ Next Tuesday  scared2: However on discharge from hospital this afternoon the consultant (who does the same op locally) has advised me that one week is too soon after my recent biliary colic. At the moment he's not wrong, I feel like shite.
