Toyota Yaris problem!
« on: September 20, 2014, 03:07:08 PM »
Big Sis has her Brother in Law staying at present and wanted to be able to take him out and about. He has had a heart attack and has had a pacemaker fitted.

SHe went to pick him up from the station in her Yaris. He refused to get in it!!

It seems that folks with pacemakers are not allowed in electric cars as they may die  eeek: eeek: eeek:

Can you imagine how many law suits there'd be in the USofA if it were true?

Try telling him how much current flows to the starter motor when a petrol car starts
Well, whatever, nevermind

Tell him to watch out for static from his lucky rabbit's foot.
