There are closer ones but they only have a 40m drop. Maybe someone will get the hint and make a 100m one.  eveilgrin:

Given that this is a pair of nutters in their back yard I think I'll give this one a miss  lol:

Could end up being another project for BM though.  eveilgrin:

A 4d Batman roller coaster that flips you over as you are going aliong? If this is seriously getting built next year a trip to Texas could be extremely tempting...

I have the chance to try one of these headsets a while ago and this idea certainly has potential.  rubschin:

But you can achieve the same thing in a stationary simulator... I don't see why you would need to add the visuals to a roller-coaster.... Shrugs:

True, I spent a decent amount of time on the Sea King simlator at RNAS Culdrose when I was a kid and saw that you didn't even need to have  the hydraulics on for the scenery to bugger up your balance after a while.

I suppose that the VR headsets make it a cheap way to change the rollercoaster ride. If say flying in a battle stopped being popular you chould easily change the program to riding on a dragon and hey presto new ride available.  rubschin:
