Still working on the drains in our road - we haven't been cut off from the outside world... yet...


They have gone down so deep now that they need a nice, safe Cypriot ladder to get to the bottom... ::)



Still, at least the site is completely secure so there is no risk of anybody falling down the hole...  noooo:

They haven't tackled that particular problem yet - I suspect they will dig a great big 'sump' out that they can both drain into....  noooo:

Stick a manhole in, call it a drop-shaft  :thumbsup:  (seen it before on more than one occasion)

So today they got some bits of owld wood and some concrete and made a sump drop shaft!  Thumbs:




The yellow pipes are telephone cables....  noooo:
