'edge'og related injuies
« on: July 22, 2012, 06:54:08 PM »
I luv 'edge'ogs. cloud9:

Came across a babee one up the road from G towers on me way home an hour ago, and it was most defo on its way to getting itself severley deaded, so being the kind considerate ole bear that i REALLY am, and a fond luver of wildlife, I stopped and decided to help it across the road, much to all the other motorists amusement....didn't care tbh.

However, not having handled one before, I decided to pick it up with me bare paws.

Put it down quite hastily truth be known. whistle:
A wumman came to me and its rescue with a plastic bag to act as gloves.

Got 2 palms and 10 very poorly bloody fingers fingers now. sad32:
Am I going to contract rabies or summat now?
Should I go for a tetanus injection? Shrugs:

I know, I know. I'm a bir'of a dope, but I did mean well.
Wouldn't have done it for a 'uman mind. noooo:

 redface:

Me mitts are all tingly, and I feel all woozy and goosed, but that could be summat to do with sitting down most of the day, soaking up the rays from that strange orange ball in the sky p'raps? rubschin:

If I start being all nice and polite to everyone ('alucinating quite obviously) will some one call the 'ossy for me please?

Of course ~ no problem

If your hands get red and start swelling then get down to A&E otherwise you're OK

No sign of any of that, but they don't 'arf sting still. sad32:

Was actually quite shocked just how prickly they are tbh. Incredulous. eeek:

Might ring the quackters in the morning just to ask if a tetanus jab is actually adviseable.
As luvlee and cuddly as 'edge 'ogs are, you can't be sure where they've been or what geeerms that carry, yes?

Just been to get a glass of water, and the tap absolutely startled me btw. Wozat all about?  confused:

Just seen Mrs G for the first time since my resscue mission.

Whilst young G jnr who was with me at the time, was full of praise and sympathy, SHE had nothing but sarcasam, scorn and critisism for me.
...and she wonders why I ....edited now I've calmed down.
I was exceedingly annoyed at the time.

Sick of being slagged off for helping.
Poke fun at my imbercility yes, but don't start laying into me with nasty jibes. evil:
