The worst film I'd ever seen since Perfume was Rite (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rite-DVD-Anthony-Hopkins/dp/B004LRO17Q/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1313405821&sr=1-1)...
I'm not a fan of the horror genre but even so this was a terrible film... the whole clichéd, predictable plot unravelling within the first few minutes and no amount of acting by Hopkins or special effects was ever going to save it... throw in a love interest (but no shagging) and every box must have been ticked - truly awful...
But THEN....
Then, last night we watched Everyman's War... (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Everymans-War-DVD-Cole-Carson/dp/B003HDDKG8/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1313406174&sr=1-1) which the cover describes as "Based on the true story of The Battle Of The Bulge" and "the most powerful war film you will ever see" whereas it is in fact the worst, low-budget war movie I have ever seen... well, I say 'seen' which isn't strictly true as we only watched half an hour (it seemed much longer) before turning it into a beer mat...
I think the clincher was the German who was brought up in America, considered himself American and wanted to fight for America - yet had the accent of the Nazi from Allo, Allo... noooo:
I couldn't watch any more...
Still, the fiver LL paid for it covered about 90% of the budget for the production so that was nice...

I have to agree there, between casting Sting and Kyle McLachland and making up parts of the story the David Lynch version is utter shite. If I ever decide I want to see a performance that wooden again I'll stand in the middle of a bleedin forest. On the other hand, the miniseries versions of Dune and Dune Messiah/Children of Dune that were done by Scifi were a hell of a lot better.

Basically huge storm picks up loads of sharks and drops them on a flooded America. It does feel like someone has been looking into Nick's mind for ideas. lol:

It wasn't a cause you gormless arrogant moron. It wouldn't have mattered if the film had an all female lead, all male lead or mixed, nothing would have changed the simple fact that it was a godawful script combined with lousy directing and relied almost entirely on the CGI to carry it. It wasn't funny, it wasn't scary, I was bored shitless for the half hour I gave the film before giving up. Just face facts, you thought that you could coast through the project carried by the fact that it was a well loved franchise when clearly you couldn't.

I'm not sure whether to add this or not but Sharknado. The Asylum has always been known for making low budget B movies and versions of big screen hits so if you have ever watched one of their films before you know what to expect.
Basically huge storm picks up loads of sharks and drops them on a flooded America. It does feel like someone has been looking into Nick's mind for ideas. lol:
we watched Sharknado the other and absolutely pissed ourselves! Gloriously shite.
Snakes on a plane is also a wonderful pile of poo. Laughed so much at that one. :thumbsup:

As much as I don't know how they could continue the series given they've had cyborgs, a secret society and a raging shark god in that one there is likely a sixth one in the works given the cliffhanger they left the last one with. lol:
