Not that shocked to be honest.  Strong family, he's proved he's top class and now has that championship to his name.  What does he need F1 for?

How about it's a great fucking lifestyle.

Huge and relentless pressure, huge personal risks, every chance of eventually retiring on a low finding his wife and kids had long since left

Not a lifestyle I'd choose if I already had £squillions and that happy family
