Didn't take long for the protests to start.  noooo:

Weird that.  1.8 million from English constituencies but saying only 357 thousand from the UK.  Methinks some serious algorithm flaws

But whatever this is a silly petition.  It could get 20 million signatures and it matters not.  We have a decision and it is now up to us all to deal with it not deny it.
Well, whatever, nevermind

Hang on, what do you mean the referendum may not be legally binding and why the hell weren't we told that from the start?

You were told it

And you have been told the Daily Mail prints lies as its headlines, justifying them to Levenson by saying the following articles have truth in them

And this is the third time I've seen this false story which is all about the right of MPs to vote on approving future trade deals.  Having Norway style access to the single market is not EU membership and Boris opened his leave campaign advocating we go for such.  He did a U turn or two on this of course.
Well, whatever, nevermind

To be fair, I knew about the remote possibility of MP's ignoring the referendum result and blocking any exit plan as I'd got that from a number of sources but I didn't know about the legality issue until I heard it on the BBC earlier and went looking online for more details. I check news from a number of sources but the only reason I used the Mail in this case was because I'd used up my free access on the other sites I tend to check and I seemed a lot less rabid than the Express.

The key point is this isn't about blocking the EU exit but shaping it.  As it happens I think a rush to a Norway style deal would be wrong on so many levels not least that it's the worst of both worlds.

Stunning little speech by Andrew Marr at the start of his programme this morning (should be on iPlayer later) with an incisive view of why the EU and its UK support were past their best by date.

We are in for interesting times, there will be casualties but we could come out of it better IF we get leaders of integrity and ability.  Boris, IDS, Gove et al do not tick those boxes, neither does Corbyn.  Sadly only Sturgeon does and she cares not a jot for England
Well, whatever, nevermind

How else would you expect a lying little shit to look?  As Marr put it over that £350M a week to NHS poster:  "that's a promise broken"

God help this country if IDS is given anything more important than a whelk stall in the next government

A face I'd never tire of hitting
