Wasn't that exciting? A whole programme on TV hosted by Sue Barker withmusic provided my Katherine Jenkins, and watched by15000 spectators. The event being the closing of the centre court roof which can take 8, 9 or 10 minutes depending on which commentator yo listen too.

FFS it was a bloody roof! not the second coming

Quite so.

Now a sliding roof to cover Lords would be a bit more of a wonder, and more useful.

Cliff has entered the Morris Dancer area of the world now and should, of course, be shot

I know Chris de Burgh is lethal but how do you fire him at someone? Surely a gun would take care of both of them.

Polonium enema for both.

They are probably both regular 'cleansers'.

I've heard that Cliff does certainly.

And another bloody thing, did your mummy give you a medal for gardening? It's about time this clown grew up.

This thread has drifted so far that I am no longer sure to which clown you refer.

That'll be Prince Charles.

Prince Charles has often been teased about admitting he talks to his plants at Highgrove. This week he had the last laugh when his commitment to gardening and the environment was recognised by an elite award.

His proud mum, the Queen, was called upon to do the honours in presenting the Prince with the Royal Horticultural Society's Victoria Medal of Honour
