So many of us have been working jolly blooming hard recently due to the lack of an adequate response by another local authority in respect of recent events.

At a meeting this morning one of the big bods from the task force wanted to ensure that the welfare of staff was being considered before they all became 'burnt out'. He realised what he said as soon as it was voiced aloud but by then it was far, far too late.
