We now have Richard the uninvited guest.
Richard arrived at 3am last night bleeding over our hall carpet and hiding in the piles of stuff there awaiting transport to temporary storage. Cats were most interested mainly because this is Richard the Rat and one of them had brought him in. Richard was located in the Scalextric pile and immediately let out a pitiful shriek, the cats pounced and he ran through the house with all in pursuit eventually hiding behind the unit with all the computery on it and computery wiring behind it
At 4am we gave up but he is definitely (a) still there and (b) far far too big for the humane mouse traps we have (as might be known we're not great on killing).
At this point I am cursing throwing away the BIG trap I once made out of a biscuit tin and wondering how I could make another one. So I wondered - do Amazon sell equivalent such traps?
