First day of training with "Pam" yesterday.

Loads of Elf and Safety stuff, learned how to chuck rescue ropes properly like  angel1 and learned how to use a defibr  defibre debirel electric heart machine.

You only really need to remember 3 things:

1. "MAYDAY" - Standard Nickesque cock up, person in imminent danger and rescue urgently needed

2. "PAN PAN PAN" - Minor Nickesque cock up, person not in imminent danger but still serious and rescue needed.

3. "SECURITE" - Navigation hazard such as a submerged log or the Ginger Shambles in charge of a lock...
